PREGUNTA I, II and III, 1983

RA: The question mark sits tight in a tight spot, but it bleeds out to make the interrogative mode. Why have three or more than one? Because the thing talks to you but it has different modulations and nuances.

BA: It could be a whining question like, "Why did you hit me?" or the tenuous one- "Can I go out tonight dad?"

RA: You also have shoulder-shrugging, raised eyebrow and so on.

BA: And so on would be the third kind of question mark???

RA: Huh??? Then there's the one that has no answer, the rhetorical one. They come in different flavors, all black.

BA: No - what about the hand-painted one?

RA: That's when you're cutting in and out of the question - when your attention wanders and then you come back to it.
